- The band playing at the party is the youth Christian rock group Hawk Nelson from the Canadian town of Peterborough, Ontario.
- Many of the actors who played the children in the film were initially planned for other roles. For example, Daniella Panabaker initially auditioned for the role of Christina, but played Phoebe, and Nicholas Roget-King tried out for the role of Ethan, but instead played Aldo.
