Short description
When LexCorp accidentally unleashes a murderous creature, Superman meets his greatest challenge as a champion. Based on the "The Death of Superman" storyline that appeared in DC Comics' publications in the 1990s.
What's left behind the scenes
- The Fortress of Solitude features various items from past Superman cartoons: the anti-kryptonite suit, the spacesuit and rocket from 'Superman' (1996-2000); the bulletproof car from 'The Adventures of Superman' (1942); and robots from 'Mechanical Monsters' (1941). You can also spot the Bottle City of Kandor and Brainiac's head in the Fortress.
- The character of Mercy first appeared in the animated series "Superman" (1996-2000) as Lex Luthor's driver/bodyguard. In this film, she is a corporate assistant.
