• The author of the Jack Ryan literary world is American writer Tom Clancy. The first novel dates back to 1984, the last – about Jack Ryan Jr., his son – to 2010.
• Felicity Jones, Evangeline Lilly, Kate Beckinsale, and Jessica Biel were also considered for the role of Cathy Ryan, Jack Ryan's wife, which went to Keira Knightley.
• Part of the filming took place in Moscow at the Mosfilm studio and in the center of the capital (near the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Kremlin, the Kremlin Embankment, on the Big Stone and Patriarchal Bridges).
• Chris Pine starred with the previous Jack Ryan, Ben Affleck, in the film 'Lucky Aces' (2006). However, when Alexander Borovsky/Chiverin is first introduced to the audience, his parents tell him he is 21 years old. This suggests the year is 2016, but several facts indicate otherwise.
• When identifying visitors on the security guard's screen, a message appears in what looks like Russian that says 'Data match failed'. The authors likely meant 'No matches found'.
