The film is based on a real case that occurred in the state of Georgia, where the filmmakers are from. Four friends went to a sauna. At some point, one of them left the steam room to use the restroom, locking the others inside. He fell asleep in the restroom and, upon waking, didn't even remember where he had left his friends, and began searching for them – everywhere except the steam room. Fortunately, those locked in the steam room were able to turn off the heater, so no one died, although they spent over 10 hours inside.
