Russian-speaking viewers may find it unclear why the bank director so easily gave a large sum of money to 11-year-old Preston. The bank director was waiting for a courier named Juice to deliver him $1 million. When a boy comes to the director and hands him a check, thinking this is the courier, he asks him, “Juice?” (i.e., “are you Juice?”). However, the fact is that in English, the word “juice” means “juice” (as in fruit juice), and Preston, thinking he is being offered a drink, replies, “No, thank you, I don’t want to drink,” and the director, interpreting this answer as affirmative, gives the boy the money. Thus, a play on words with homonyms occurred.
