Short description
Two losers from Milwaukee, Coop and Remer, invent a new game playing basketball, using baseball rules. When the game becomes a huge success, they, along with a billionaire's help, form the Professional Baseketball League where everyone gets the same pay and no team can change cities. Theirs is the only team standing in the way of major rule changes that the owner of a rival team wants to institute.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film starred not professional actors, but professional animators, the creators of the notorious and crude series "South Park" (1997).
- Filming took place in California, in the city of Long Beach, and began on January 16, 1998.
- The film was created based on a real-life game that director David Zucker came up with with his friends and called it "Zucker-driveway." They played it on the road near his house. And the team players appearing in the film are Zucker’s friends.
- In one episode, Parker's character mocks a large man in the voice of his "South Park" character, Eric Cartman.
