Environmental destruction is self-destruction. We are addicted to self-destruction. This has to stop. We need to slow down the accelerating speed with which we are riding towards irreversible doom. Indeed, this has all been said a million times before. This has all been said in a million different ways: incriminating, intimidating, infuriating, condescending, optimistically hopeful,... I have nothing new to add. Let’s just be silent for a while. Let’s go for a walk. “One Crow Sorrow” is a personal city symphony where an eco-anxious soul explores the intersections of natural and artificial. The filmmaker’s internal conflicts are reflected through the contradictions of early spring. This experimental short documentary invites the viewer to take the time and truly pay attention to one’s surroundings.
