What's left behind the scenes
- Guards with tranquilizer guns had to be stationed around the set to protect the actors and crew from polar bears. This happened after one of the predators interrupted filming.
- Winter scenes were filmed at a temperature of minus 28 degrees Celsius. When the wind started, the temperature dropped to minus 45 degrees Celsius.
