What's left behind the scenes
- According to Kel Mitchell, one of the lead actors who played Otis, Abe Vigoda was already 76 years old at the time of filming, but despite his age, he ran and climbed over fences perfectly, as required by the script.
- During filming, synthetic PVA-based glue (so-called Elmer's products) was added to the food to make it look better on camera. Instead of ice cream, culinary fat was used, as the ice cream itself would simply melt under the spotlights.
- According to Kenan Thompson, there was almost 2,000 pounds of meat on set during filming, and it began to spoil. The actor said he genuinely felt sorry for the extras who had to eat this meat with long-cold french fries. But on screen, these burgers looked appetizing.
