What's left behind the scenes

  • Ryan Dunn's (1977-2011) final performance as the Oddball. Eight months after the film's release, the actor died in a car accident.
  • Before filming the scene where he urinates, Bam Margera drank more than 13 large glasses of water.
  • A dildo in flight knocked out a tooth of Philip John Clapp, known as Johnny Knoxville.
  • After performing one stunt, Bam Margera was hospitalized with three broken ribs, a damaged shoulder, and a dislocated ankle. During the performance of another stunt, Loomis Fall injured his collarbone.
  • Slow-motion fluid footage was shot using high-speed "Phantom" cameras connected to 3D equipment, allowing for filming at 1000 frames per second.
