Short description
After winning his first competition, Takumi focuses his attention on drift racing, a sport he has unknowingly perfected while delivering tofu in his father's Toyota AE86.
What's left behind the scenes
- Three new Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno (Toyota Corolla AE) cars, discontinued in 1987, were specifically produced for the film.
- Initially, Hark Tsui was going to direct the film, but he ultimately left the project due to creative differences.
- According to Anthony Wong, the original script featured a race involving his character Bunty. However, the scene had to be cut from the final version of the film due to time constraints.
