What's left behind the scenes
- The famous portrait of Dorian Gray at the age depicted in Ivan Albright's (1897-1983) work, which took about a year to create, is now owned by the Art Institute of Chicago, where the portrait has been on display to visitors for many years. Albright's twin brother, Malvin, a well-known sculptor, also received a commission to create a portrait of Dorian, but of his youth, and his portrait was never used.
