What's left behind the scenes
- The idea for the film about rock star Lili Chou-Chou was inspired by the image of Chinese singer and actress Fei Wong.
- Ayumi Ito (who played Yoko) specifically learned to play the piano in order to perform in the film without a body double. She even set Claude Debussy's "Arabesque No. 1" as her ringtone.
- Ayumi Ito actually cut her hair for the role.
- At one point, someone mentions that the mother of Shugo Oshinari's character resembles Izumi Inamori. This character is indeed played by Inamori.
