Short description
After her mother's mysterious death, Nica begins to suspect that the talking, red-haired doll her visiting niece has been playing with may be the key to the mounting bloodshed and chaos.

- Working titles for the film were "Child's Play: Curse of Chucky" and "Child's Play 6".
- The main female role is played by Fiona Dourif, the daughter of Brad Dourif (the voice of Chucky).
- Filming of the movie lasted 31 days.
- Despite the age of modern technology, the special effects in «Curse of Chucky» were practical and handmade. Approximately a hundred animatronic Chucky dolls, and a stunt double, were used during filming, with a CGI model of the doll only appearing in a few scenes.
