Short description
Billy, a single mother of two, is led into a macabre underworld while her teenage son, Bones, discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Both Billy and Bones must dive deep into the mystery if their family is to survive.
What's left behind the scenes
- Scenes with Matt Smith were filmed during the actor's breaks from filming the series "Doctor Who" (2005). For his role in the film, the actor shaved his head, so he had to wear a wig in subsequent episodes of the series.
- The role of Belladonna was originally intended for Karen Black, but unfortunately she passed away from cancer. The role was ultimately played by Barbara Steele.
- The film’s initial original title, "How to Catch a Monster," was eventually changed to "Lost River."
