What's left behind the scenes
- The film is based on the biography of Swedish jazz singer Monica Zetterlund.
- The events of the film take place in the early 1960s. However, when Monica and her band are touring the country, a song by the group Tages – Ms MacBaren – is playing from the bus’s speakers. This song only appeared in 1966.
- In one scene, Monica is riding a bus with advertisements for Luxor color televisions, which only appeared in 1969.
- At the beginning of the film, as Monica walks along the house in Hagfors, an LCD monitor can be seen through the window.
