Short description
A collection of intersecting short stories set in early 1980s Los Angeles, depicts a week in the lives of an assortment of socially alienated, mainly well-off characters who numb their sense of emptiness with casual sex, violence, and drugs.
What's left behind the scenes
- Filming began on October 12, 2007, in Los Angeles and continued in Uruguay and Buenos Aires.
- This is the last film featuring the 25-year-old actor Brad Renfro.
- Initially, Brandon Ruth played the role of Jamie, but he is not in the final version of the film, as the decision was made to remove all "vampire scenes" from the screen adaptation.
- The role of Christie was originally played by Ashley Olsen, but she dropped out of the project and was replaced by Heard.
