What's left behind the scenes
- Luc Besson wrote the screenplay for the film back in middle school.
- Leeloo's full name is – LeelooMinai Lekatariba Laminachai Ekbat Deba Sabat.
- The language spoken by the character Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) was invented by Luc Besson himself. Of course, the actress herself also contributed some improvisation. By the end of filming, they could chat with each other calmly in the invented language, which delighted the film crew.
