What's left behind the scenes

Filming of the movie began on March 19, 2003, in Hawaii, and then continued in Los Angeles. Filming wrapped in June 2003. Initially, the project was developed with Cameron Diaz, and Jay Roach was to direct.
Initially, the movie was titled “50 First Kisses,” then the title was changed to “Fifty First Dates.” Later, “Fifty” was replaced with “50,” resulting in “50 First Dates.”
Julia Roberts was considered for the role of Lucy.
On the yacht, during the conversation between Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider, the shark bite on Rob Schneider’s left side is not visible, although in previous shots he was walking around with stitches and a fresh wound.
Initially, the film was titled "50 First Kisses", then the title was changed to "Fifty First Dates". Subsequently, "Fifty" was replaced with "50", resulting in "50 First Dates".
