What's left behind the scenes

  • The rascal is chained up. In the first part, his mother, Lady, was also chained up.
  • In the second part, the main characters exchange social statuses. She, Angel, is a street dog, while he, Tramp, is a house dog.
  • Tramp's sisters are named Annette, Colette, and Daniella, but none of them are mentioned in the cartoon.
  • The terms 'Buster's girl' and 'this is my son!' were introduced by the authors as a contrast between the 'family' of street dogs and a real family.
  • The name of the district – 'Snophill' – where the family lives, is first mentioned.
  • A poster with the date of the holiday, July 4, 1911, hangs at the back entrance to Tony's restaurant, which allows us to understand when the cartoon takes place (July 2-5, 1911).
  • The room where Scamp and his sisters bathe is the same one where Jim laid Lady to bed in the first part.
  • When Scamp chases a ball around the living room, a photograph falls from the piano – the very one Jim took at the end of the first part.
  • When Scamp runs after Angel to the junkyard, he crosses the same bridge seen in the first part when Lady and Tramp ran away after the farmer shot at them.
  • At the junkyard lies an old dogcatcher’s wagon. It’s the very wagon that Trusty fell under when he ran to the dog pound to save Tramp. Buster uses it as a kind of 'throne'.
  • In the scene where Angel confesses to Scamp that she wants a family of her own, they walk along the railway station tracks, borrowed from the first part.
  • When Angel and Scamp walk through the park, they pass much of what was passed in the first part of Lady and the Tramp.
  • As Angel and Scamp walk through the park, you can notice paw prints in the cement left by Tramp and Lady in the first part.
  • The confrontation scene between Buster and Tramp takes place near the same gates where the fight in the first part occurred, where Tramp defended Lady from a pack of vicious dogs.
