What's left behind the scenes
- Most of the film, including the street scenes in New York, was shot on sets built at Cinecita Studios in Rome.
- Jude Law and Naomi Watts were supposed to play one of the couples, but later opted for other projects.
- The film is set in three world capitals, but in reality, almost the entire film was shot at the legendary Cinecittà Studios near Rome, to save money. To obtain the iconic New York yellow taxis, they turned to Bulgaria, where a lot of international film production is currently taking place.
- This is the fourth joint film for Mila Kunis and James Franco. Previously, they starred together in 'Date Night,' 'Time After Time,' and 'Oz the Great and Powerful.'
- In the scene where Anna looks at her iPhone in Paris, the screen displays the AT&T carrier. This company does not provide services in Paris.
- When Anna gets ready to meet with Daniel, she buttons her shirt incorrectly. In the next shot, the shirt is already buttoned correctly.
