What's left behind the scenes

  • The second story, titled "The Cat from Hell" (author – Stephen King, film adaptation – George A. Romero), was initially planned to be included in the anthology "Tales from the Darkside 2" (Michael Gornick, 1987). This did not happen for financial reasons.
  • "The Lovers' Vow" is based on a story from Japanese folklore, with the ghost from the legend replaced by a gargoyle.
  • Julianne Moore's debut on the big screen.
  • On "Hell Cat" television, the horror film "Martin" (George A. Romero, 1976) is playing.
