Short description

A young boy tells three stories of horror to distract a witch who plans to eat him.

What's left behind the scenes

The second story, titled "The Cat from Hell" (author – Stephen King, film adaptation – George A. Romero), was initially planned to be included in the anthology "Tales from the Darkside 2" (Michael Gornick, 1987). This did not happen for financial reasons.
"The Lovers' Vow" is based on a story from Japanese folklore, with the ghost from the legend replaced by a gargoyle.
