Short description
When an inner-city Miami schoolteacher gets her knee broken after standing up to the school's gang leader, her mercenary combat specialist boyfriend goes undercover as a substitute teacher to take down the punk. Soon he discovers a conspiracy of criminals at work, and must reassemble his team from his last jungle raid to stop them.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The film was shot in the summer, and schoolchildren who continued to attend classes played in the extras scenes. Everyone who agreed to stay for filming after class was treated to free pizza.
  • Cliff De Young's character plays high-alley (a game where a thrown ball must bounce off the floor to a wall).
  • At the shooting range, a woman in white behind Sheila, played by Tom Berenger, does not pull the trigger; the pistol's slide remains stationary, and no casings are ejected. The woman simply lifts the gun barrel slightly to give the impression of recoil.
