Short description

A young boy, in an effort to have a normal childhood in 1980s El Salvador, is caught up in a dramatic fight for his life as he desperately tries to avoid the war which is raging all around him

This film is about the civil war in El Salvador, which lasted twelve years, from 1980 to 1992. The story shown in it is real. Chava is Oscar Orlando Torres, the film's screenwriter. He wrote the script based on events from his own childhood.
