Short description
A group of high-school friends must come to terms with the fact that one of them, Samson, killed another, Jamie. Faced with the brutality of death, each must decide whether to turn their friend in to the police, or to help him escape the consequences of his dreadful deed.

What's left behind the scenes

  • Screenwriter Neil Jimenez read the story that formed the basis of the plot when visiting friends. He wrote the script and presented it to his mentor (this was during his studies at a private nonprofit university located in the city of Santa Clara, California).
  • Neil Jimenez depicted his school friends from Sacramento, California, in the characters.
  • The film is based on real events – on November 3, 1981, in the California town of Milpitas, 16-year-old Anthony Jacques Broussard raped and strangled 14-year-old Marcie Conrad. He showed her body to at least 13 different people, but none of them reported the murder to the police.
