At the cemetery at the beginning of the film, Betsy is shown at a tombstone with the inscription "Rest in peace, Simon J. Paladino – a civil servant with a unique vision of the world." Simon J. Paladino was the name of one of the minor characters in the computer animated film "The Incredibles" (2004), who possessed laser vision.
This short film was made as a parody of horror movies and in celebration of Halloween.
