What's left behind the scenes
- In one episode of the film, the characters watch a video online of a plane crash. Footage from the actual crash of a "B-52" aircraft in 1994, which killed four U.S. Air Force personnel, was used. Their relatives were outraged, after which producer Michael Bay apologized and the scene was removed from the film. The same footage of the plane crash was also used in Robert Zemeckis’s drama "Flight" (2012) starring Denzel Washington, but the video material was edited in that film.
