What's left behind the scenes

  • The role of one of the special forces soldiers is played by a fan of the film who won a contest on the official website.
  • Jimmy "Fat Hand" Jackson, who is mentioned in the end credits, was a longtime friend of Troy Duffy and the drummer in the Boondock Saints band. He battled a brain tumor and underwent many surgeries. After filming, spent bullet casings were sold, and the proceeds were given to him for medical expenses.
  • The song that played during the fight between Mexican Romeo and the Frenchman on the ship was "Mongoose" by Fu Manchu.
