- The wilderness adventures in the plot take place in Finnish Lapland, but all the street scenes were actually filmed in the Alps, as the real Lapland did not match how director Jalmari Helander envisioned the nature in those scenes.
- Initially, director Jalmari Helander wanted Mel Gibson to play the role of the president.
- When the heroes fly over Lapland, the pilot announces that they are preparing to land, even though they are flying to Helsinki, which is 1000 km away from Lapland.
- The battle-trained agent Khazar does not know how to operate a machine gun.
