• Amanda Seyfried was the producers' initial choice for the role of Babydoll, but she had to decline due to commitments to other projects.
• Evan Rachel Wood was the producers' initial choice for the role of Rocket, but she had to decline due to commitments to other projects.

• Specifically for the film, actress Emily Browning recorded a cover version of the famous song by Eurythmics, "Sweet Dreams," which can be heard at the very beginning of the movie.
