Sasha Mitchell starred in the lead role in the sequel. Jean-Claude Van Damme participated again, but this time only as one of the screenwriters.
The script had numerous flaws, or rather inconsistencies with the beginning of the story. A major plus was the return of two actors to the film – Dennis Chan and Michel Qissi. In addition, it also featured a popular action movie villain – Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.
In the final fight scene, neither Sasha Mitchell nor Michel Qissi even touched the broken glass; instead, prop (rubber) ice was used. And in the scene where one of the heroes puts his hands into a container of broken glass, a prop hand was used.
