What's left behind the scenes
- Practically the entire film is a result of improvisation. The shooting plans consisted only of short notes like "recording a conversation while driving a car".
- Since the film is based on conversations between Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass, much of it consists of improvisation. A large amount of footage was shot, which was shown to friends and acquaintances. As a result, based on their advice, what began as a black comedy turned into a horror film. At least three alternative endings to the film have been preserved.
