What's left behind the scenes

  • Elena Anaya, who worked with director Gabe Ibáñez on 'The Iron Island' (2009), gave Antonio Banderas the script to read during filming of 'The Skin I Live In' (2011). Before even finishing the script, Antonio Banderas called the director and said: 'I'm on page 28 right now. If the script is still this powerful on page 106, we'll do it.' The script inspired Banderas so much that he became a co-producer of the project.
