Short description

Enforcing the law within the notoriously rough Brownsville section of the city and especially within the Van Dyke housing projects is the NYPD's sixty-fifth precinct. Three police officers struggle with the sometimes fine line between right and wrong.

What's left behind the scenes

Ellen Barkin was thrilled at the prospect of working with Don Cheadle. Director Antoine Fuqua wasn't even sure if she asked for and received a fee for her role.
During the making of the film, Wesley Snipes faced the threat of arrest for tax evasion.
In preparation for her role, Shannon Kane rented accommodation in Brooklyn and spent time in strip clubs.
