What's left behind the scenes
- Kate Hudson was originally slated to play the lead role, but she left the project when work on the film stalled at an early stage. Salma Hayek ultimately landed the part.
- In one scene, it is clearly visible that a bullet hits Everly in the side. However, in subsequent scenes, there is no entry or exit wound on her white nightgown, only bloodstains.
- The Asian man on Everly's couch is unable to move, yet when her mother arrives at the apartment, blood drops have been wiped from his lips, even though Everly never approached him and he himself couldn't have done it.
