What's left behind the scenes

All Facebook and Skype accounts shown in the film actually exist.
The entire film was shot in one house, with all the actors located in different rooms.
To make the film more believable, changes were made to the script on the fly during the shooting of each take, resulting in the actors improvising in response to unexpected alterations.
On the computer screen, Blair (Shelley Hennig) is shown an open page of the series “Werewolf” (2011), in which Hennig herself starred.
The film is based on the stories of the real suicides of Amanda Todd and Audri Pott.
The filmmakers specifically created a mock-up of the Skype interface to avoid potential technical glitches during filming.
The majority of scenes from the trailers and television commercials were not included in the final version of the film.

At the beginning of the film, when Blair is communicating with Mitch, two messages in a row disappear while they continue to write to each other. Later, these messages reappear in the same place where they were.
On Blair's Facebook page, the icon of her friend Tony changes to an image of a completely different person when the page is shown for the last time.
When Blair's last Facebook messages are shown, the date on these messages is different in different frames. Sometimes it's 11/20/13, and sometimes 12/3/13.
When Blair searches for police codes, she states the code "5250", while the code 5150 is highlighted on her screen, which is the one she should have said.
When Blair checks her relationship status with Laura Barnes on Facebook, it indicates they have been friends since February. However, this is impossible, as the film's events take place a year after Laura's death, meaning Blair added Laura as a friend after she was already deceased.
When Laura posts a photo of Jess, the date indicates the photo was uploaded in November, while the film's events unfold in April.
In scenes featuring YouTube videos, the total video length and current position indicators can be seen changing.
