• In one scene, Jack takes out an ancient knife and reads the inscription on it: "Legi convictio scientia veritate," which means "Knowledge of the law, confidence in righteousness."
• For his role in the film, Henry Rollins had to conceal his large sun tattoo.
• Jack wears a coat from the American brand American Eagle.
• On the poster, Jack is depicted with wings, but in the film, he has scars in their place. If we turn not to the biblical story, but to mythology, the presence of rudimentary wings can be explained by the fact that Cain (Jack) could have been the son of a fallen angel and Eve. Cain was doomed to eternal wandering, in other words, he could well have been deprived of his wings as punishment for fratricide.
• Towards the end, Cain mentions his numerous victims in Wallachia. This is a clear hint that he was also known as the Prince of Wallachia or, at least, was associated with Count Dracula.
