Short description
While on detention, a group of misfits and slackers have to write a letter to the President explaining what is wrong with the education system. There is only one problem, the President loves it! Hence, the group must travel to Washington to meet the Main Man.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The bus driver, played by Tommy Chong, hums a tune and sings a snippet of the song "Earache My Eye." Chong and Cheech Marin performed this song at the end of the film "Up in Smoke" (1978).
  • This is the first full-length film featuring Jeremy Renner.
  • Travis's 1974 Chevrolet Caprice unexpectedly becomes a 1971 Chevrolet Impala after going off a bridge.
  • A bus with children is traveling south, judging by the fact that they drove through Pennsylvania on their way to Washington, D.C. However, upon arrival, the bus travels north, crossing the Arlington Memorial Bridge near the Lincoln Memorial.
  • After Dags and Virus leave school on the bus, there is a scene of them talking about Lisa. As they talk, a building with the Canadian flag can be seen passing by.
  • The end credits express gratitude to New Line Cinema for providing footage from the film Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Nightmare. In reality, the film is titled Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday (Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, 1993).
