Short description

- The plot unfolds in 1997.
- Initially, the screenwriter Ted Griffin was acting as director, but he was fired two days after filming began, and Rob Reiner took over. Work on the film stalled for a couple of days while Reiner made some changes to the script, cast, and crew, after which filming resumed. As a result of all these complications, Charlie Hunnam, Leslie Ann Warren, Tony Bill, and Greta Scacchi left the film.
