Short description

What's left behind the scenes

In 2016, Germany officially submitted this film for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
The film tells the story of the life of German judge and prosecutor Fritz Bauer (1903-1968) and his associates, who played a key role in the 1963 so-called "Auschwitz trials".
The film is dedicated to the memory of Gert Voss (1941-2014), the performer of the main role, who passed away a few months before the premiere.
