Short description

After failing to apprehend the terrorist behind a Paris attack that claimed dozens of lives, CIA agent Alice Racine is forced to live in London as a caseworker. Her mentor unexpectedly calls her back into action when the CIA discovers that another attack is imminent. Alice soon learns that the classified information she's uncovered has been compromised...

What's left behind the scenes

In working on the film, the authors drew inspiration from both classic spy films such as "The Third Man" (Carol Reed, 1949) and "Three Days of the Condor" (Sydney Pollack, 1975), as well as modern works like the "Jason Bourne" franchise. The FBI, as well as a former US Navy SEAL and CIA officer, provided invaluable support to screenwriter Peter O'Brien as a technical consultant.
The directorial debut of producer Georgina Townsley, who previously worked in documentary filmmaking.
In the early stages of production (in 2014), Mikael Håfström was supposed to direct the film.
Filming lasted from November 3, 2014, to January 17, 2015.
Noomi Rapace was confirmed for the lead role in the film as early as April 7, 2014.
Orlando Bloom and Michael Douglas joined the project on September 7, 2014.
Toni Collette and John Malkovich were cast in the film on November 6, 2014.
