Short description
Thomas and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. - Australian actress Adelaide Kane was considered for a role in this film.
- Director Wes Ball said that the film would differ slightly from the book, however, in the third installment ("The Maze Runner: The Death Cure") the plot will not deviate from the original story.
- Hailee Steinfeld was prepared to play the role of Brenda, but ultimately the role went to Rosa Salazar.
