  • In 2011, the U.S. Coast Guard named a 46-meter high-speed boat of a new design after Boatswain's Mate Bernard Webber of CG 36500. These boats were the first vessels to be named after enlisted personnel.
  • Filming took place primarily in the town of Chatham, Massachusetts.

On November 10th and 11th, 2014, they visited the set and observed the filming of scenes depicting the rescue of the surviving sailors of the "Pendleton".
