• This is the last film in which Ben Woolf appeared.
• As in the film «The Fog» (1980), Adrienne Barbeau plays a radio host in this film.
• This is the second film that director Darren Lynn Bousman has made for «Epic Pictures Group». The first was the supernatural horror film «11-11-11» (2011), which was executive produced by Shaked Berenson and Patrick Ewald.
• In the first story («Sweet Tooth»), the «Carpenter Bar» chocolate bar is named after the famous horror film director John Carpenter.
• The plot of the seventh story, "This Means War," can be viewed as a tale of a metaphorical battle between classic supernatural films of the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s on one side, and films of the 1980s and later about various kinds of maniacs on the other. The difference between them is emphasized by the decorations on the lawns of the neighbors who have declared war on each other – tombstones representing the classics of the mid-20th century genre, and human body parts characteristic of later horror films.
