• The film was shot in one take after three attempts.
• The original script was very short (only 12 pages), so much of the dialogue in the film was improvised.
• The role of the doctor, played by Ernst Stötzner, was completely removed from the final version of the film.
• A considerable amount of time was spent rehearsing to achieve successful filming in one take. The final version was shot on April 27, 2014, from 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM in the Kreuzberg and Mitte districts of Berlin.
• The film was shot using a Canon C300 camera.
• 150 extras were involved in the filming process.
