The adventures of Mulan were first described in the famous Chinese musical poem “The Ballad of Mulan” in the 6th century. Unfortunately, the original text of this work was lost during the reign of the Tang dynasty, so the later work by the famous Chinese musician and lyricist, Guo Maoquan, in the 12th century is considered the original poem.
The singer Vitas (Vitaly Grachev) performed the opening song "Not for Glory" ("Beneath the Glory").
