What's left behind the scenes
- The film's slogan, "And I will wreak great vengeance upon them," is a phrase repeatedly uttered by Samuel L. Jackson's character in Quentin Tarantino's black comedy "Pulp Fiction" (1994), where John Travolta plays his partner.
- Initially, Nicolas Cage was cast in the lead role, but the start of filming was postponed several times, and Cage left the project. The role went to John Travolta.
- The nightclub scene was filmed at Axis Nightclub, a popular gay establishment in Columbus, Ohio, USA.
