Short description
A young autistic woman runs away from her caregiver in order to boldly go and deliver her 500-page Star Trek script to a writing competition in Hollywood. On an adventure full of laughter and tears, Wendy follows the guiding spirit of Mr. Spock on her journey into the unknown.
What's left behind the scenes
- Wendy’s dreams of Kirk and Spock walking through the desert used original costumes from the "Tolian Web" episode of the "Star Trek" series (1966-1969).
- The mountains in Wendy’s visions are the Vasquez Rocks in California. Many episodes and scenes from films and series of the "Star Trek" franchise were filmed in those locations—particularly the "Arena" episode of the "Star Trek" series (1966-1969).
