Tomás travels from Canada to Madrid to reunite with his old friend Julián. Accompanied by Julián's dog, Truman, the two men spend several emotional days together. Their reunion is marked by nostalgia and shared memories as they face the reality of Julián's terminal cancer diagnosis.
The film was directed by Cesc Gay, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Tomàs Aragay. In Gay's career, this production follows Krakers: A Chair, a Table and a Bed and Nico and Dani, and precedes The People Upstairs, My Friend Eva, and 53 Sundays. The cast features Ricardo Darín, Javier Cámara, Dolores Fonzi, Eduard Fernández, Àlex Brendemühl, and Pedro Casablanc, with a total of 33 credited actors.
